Geoff Matheson, RPF: Geoff is the Silviculture Forester for Western Forest Products in Powell River. Geoff started his career in Forestry in 2011 planting trees in northeastern Ontario, working his way west, planting in Theodosia inlet in 2014. He graduated from Selkirk College in 2016 with a diploma in Forest Technology and was hired as a summer student in Powell River. He has been involved in Operational Planning since 2016 and became a Registered Forest Technologist in 2018. In 2019, Geoff went back to school to earn a Master degree in Sustainable Forest Management from UBC and became a Registered Professional Forester in 2020.
